After the recent loss of UK FREESAT TV in Spain many EX Pats and Holiday Home owners on the Spanish Costa del Sol, Andalucia, Costa Tropical, Nerja, Granada, Portugal, parts of Madrid Northern Spain and Barcelona have been left no choice other than to use internet based TV solutions such as IPTV. This has seen many overnight experts appear on Facebook offering products that are not approved by the E-S-E-A and have left many people upset and disappointed. You can spot these sellers as they often say "FREE SKY SPORTS" or "ONE OFF COST" or "SMART TV BOX" or "EXPAT SUPER IP BOX" or "ANDROID QUAD CORE" or "RASPBERRY PI"
DO NOT GET TALKED IN TO BUYING THESE USELESS BOXES.
We have had many people contact us complaining that once they had handed over money to these recently established traders that are trading off nothing more than a Facebook page and a mobile number the box they had been supplied started displaying error messages and that the supplier would ask for €75+ to pop back and reprogram the box only for errors to appear again sometimes the same day. The worst offenders being ANDROID & RASPBERRY PI. The reason these cheap Chinese boxes have so many issues is that they rely on XBMC that requires constant updating and downloading of repositories, software updates and many other chores that leave you spending more time messing around than watching TV.
